Materials: Charcoal, Conté, Paper

Purpose: The artwork above was inspired by an artist named Jim Dine, where the movements of a tool are shown through variations of angles. I decided to use a lighter, and I utilized charcoal, conté and pencils to sketch and shade this tool. In the end, I used a lighter to burn the paper and show the realism of the tool's functions.
